Absolutely agree with that man. Although I'd like to think of it as we have to learn things to hard way rather than failing, and sometimes it just takes us a lot of tries. Yay humanity!

Yes, but no matter what percentage of people learn that they're going to die anyway, so they might as well make their own lives (and everyone else's) more bearable by behaving decently, there will still be a percentage that doesn't -- and, as history has shown time and time again, it only takes a tiny percentage to **** up the entire world.
These days, a large proportion of the financial sector resides in that small percentage.
