No, not that one - Sir Christopher Michael Wren F.R.S.[^], the architect of St Paul's Cathedral in London. (Thanks Google!)
A building described by the monarch at the time (King Charles II) as "awful, pompous, and artificial".
And that was a complement!
Awful meant awe-inspiring.
Pompous meant majestic.
Artificial meant ingeniously designed.
So in four hundred years or less, the meaning of the words have completely reversed. I'm just guessing that being understood is going to be a major problem for the "casual" time traveler!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I am really chuffed, I have actually been to 3 of those bridges, however my photos of the viaduct don't quite cut it.

another good set - in at least 2 of Mike's I thought "no way would I be dumb enough to actually walk over that bridge"

Yeah some of them look pretty decrepit, and yet may have stood and been used for centuries, I would want to see if the locals use them

Yeah I sympathize, for years I traveled and took pictures but not great so about 5 years ago I bought a decent Nikon and learned how to use it and have had some amazing travels since then and some great shots to show for it.

I have always admired the works of professional and good amateur photographers. I have a colleague who aspires to being good, drives his family nuts when he wants to take a photo, the sheer time required to get it good is mind boggling. You can't just walk up and snappy (my level of skill and interest).
I once saw a giant banyan tree with it's roots exposed on the banks of the Mekong river, it would have made a stunning photo. we were on a boat going up the river, snappy was pathetic!

That is a shame, I hate missing a good shot. It's funny once you start shooting everything you look at you look at as though through a lens and you think what would be the best way to shoot it.

I think Murphy got into your web page:
Please back up you old database before installing this new version. I have made some monor alterations to the database but any time the database is modified there is always a chance that Murphy can sneak up on you.<

Yeah I noticed that and a few other typos the other day but I'm working on a version with some user requested features and will have to edit that page and others so figured I'd do it all at once.
Good eye though and thanks for the heads up!
I have OCD and Alzheimer's, stuff like that bugs the hell out of me but I forget what it is that bugs me?

Hi All,
I bought a new Lumia 520 few days back for my cousin . But i am facing a lot of problems with that phone. Just wanted to know anyone has the same problems .
The problems are ,
1. My signal strength is very low. I am using a top data provider in India( Aircel which is the no 1 in my location , Chennai , Tamil nadu). When i use my aircel sim in my Android phone signal strength is full and i am able to use high speed data in that.
2. When ever i am trying to connect to my store through my Lumia, its always says "Can't connect".
3. When i try installing the .xap files (for eg :- whatsapp.xap) its not allowing me to install . It shows There's a problem with this company app contact your company's support .
4. I have around 2000 songs in my 16 GB memory card , but nothing is showing in the music player .
5. Is there any good video player for WP 8.1 like MX Player for android?
6. It heats a lot soon.
I will update the remaining issues later.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks And Regards
Sibeesh

I have used 520 for a few months. Never had any trouble. Absolutely brilliant VFM phone. Must be a faulty set. Since it's a new phone, I would suggest taking it to the service centre.
Warm Regards,
