As a vegetarian I couldn't care less what's in your mouth. What is bothering me is that it's rude to talk with your mouth full though, but it seems meat makes you forget your manners

My wife is a vegetarian as well. I am thankful that she is not a Vegan...big difference between the two.

While posting a reply about YouTube infecting people(http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4923675/Re-YouTube-has-potentially-infected-over-users-dur.aspx[^] )
I noticed that griping, being annoyed by stuff and questioning everything comes in handy and keeps me safe online.
I dub thee, The Curmudgeon Defense: Security Methodology.
All I need now, are:
1. Nice hair,
2. platform shoes
3. book length explanation of the methodology
and I'll be rich forever as all the BigCorps run to implement my methodology:
CAn you say...
Six Sigma
ISO 9000
Kaizen

Don't know about the states, but here platform shoes are seen as sign of insecurity !!

If you are going to command the respect of people you care nothing about, as a powerful manager, platform shoes are an absolute necessity for the man of average (or below) height, so you may tower over the minions as you kanban-kaizen-iso-sigma them over the heads.
Insecurity is what its all about. And they make you even more Agile to dance with the SCRUMmy little people.

So last year wasn't exactly thrilling at work... So boring even that I went looking for a new job and found one!
My new company is a bit bigger with about 40 employees. I come from writing WinForms applications and WCF services in VB.NET and C# with a MS SQL Server database and I'm off to writing all kinds of apps in all kinds of languages for all kinds of databases (well, maybe not all, but there's a bit more diversity at my new job)
New experiences and new challenges! And I'm looking forward to it!
I'm starting january 1st, 2015.
I'll need to do some shopping first though. I'm currently dressing well... Really very informal. At my new job I have to be a bit more representative though.
I also got the key to my house last month. I've decided to outsource most of the work that needs to be done, like floors, wallpapers, windows, paiting, etc. I'm just not very handy when it comes to that kind of stuff. I expect to move begin december. I'll be 27 by then and finally moving out of the parental home...
I'm also still trying to lose weight. I've lost six to seven kilograms and I've gained more muscles than I ever had! Doing some exercise is really paying off!
To top it all off I've decided to cut my hair. I've had long hair (over my shoulders) for a good ten years now, ever since highschool.
New job, new clothes, new house, new muscular body and a new haircut!
The Sander 2.0 project is currently in beta and nearing completion
