So I take it the job is in a phase where you can get out a bit now, since you're posting again?
Work/life balance and the chance to take exercise and do other fun spare time stuff is important, don't overdo it!

Welcome back.

How about you?
No no chocolate for me.

Gaining weight (probably - it's a sort of entropy thing)
Eating too much chocolate (possibly - if that's possible [notwithstanding 22lbs])
Sooooo stressed (not so much with winding down to retirement)
Welcome back and, whatever you do, don't get stressed about putting on weight - we know where that's going!

Talking out of my backside here because I get stressed at times also. BUT, don't get stressed silly, even if it's over a guy or the job. The stress alone will increase cortisol levels in the body and that makes you gain weight more than chocolate will.

Nice. I'll bear that in my mind.
Don't mind those people who say you're not HOT. At least you know you're COOL.

OK, back to work. Nothing to see here...

Agreed. Apps crashing randomly left and right—including ones that I have been using for years without problems until IOS8.

I looked into downgrading back to iOS 7.x...no go, apparently...they don't want you going back.

Only if the iOS is being used for *ahem* *wink wink* *clicks tongue twice* .... So yeah, an android companion would be better.

One of the key reasons I've never been able to move to Android (apart from the feeling that perf never seems as smooth as iOS) was the constant crashing and weird bugs I always came across on Android.
The gap is closing.

Note to self: In future, never buy/upgrade to anything that's version 8.

I used to have a sneaking respect for Apple but now, after the PC attack ads of some years ago (after Jobs rejoined), I feel nothing but smugness.

And yeah, for me being so pro-Apple in the past, I'm not a fan of iOS8 at all so far.
