Code-ProjectTA! As in "When I say 'Code'... say 'ProjectTA'"
"Code"
"ProjectTA"
That's proper Code.

Anyone up for helping with a codeplex project? I have the list below of codeplex projects that are 1/2 to 3/4 of the way finished and need some help finishing them up or giving ideas as I have become stuck with some parts and have not finished them:
1. http://kinectmultipoint.codeplex.com - this project allows each person recognized by the Kinect to act as a mouse device (A Kinect version of multipoint). I am mostly finished with the Kinect side but need help with the mouse emulation/simulation code.
2. http://kinectsignlanguage.codeplex.com - sign ASL (American Sign Language) in front of the Kinect to perform interpretation of signs and allow communication or control of the computer.
3. http://jeffsblogcodesamples.codeplex.com - My code project and blog repository or storage area for source code.
The other part is I need some people to give their opinions on what they think of the projects. If their is anything you would like to see me make an article on code project I can try my best to make the article. Where I store the code is #3 on the list above.
Note: if you want to help each project has a join link or a forums area. This thread on code project is mostly an ideas thread or to state how you can help in someway or another. Please do not post code here.
Time to bring out the coffee.

Beneath the product lifecycle section there is the collaboration forum. That is the appropriate forum for this kind of request.
Cheers!

You looking for sympathy?
You'll find it in the dictionary, between sympathomimetic and sympatric

Squeak... Rowf?? What about a dog that likes catching mice? I used to know a family dog that would do. The dog would even catch crickets and salamander type creatures.

Are you plagued by coworkers who have a tendency to speak loudly (regardless of the emotion in their voice) in an open work environment? It's as if they grew up in a house situated next to a busy railroad track. Or maybe they just like the sound of their own voice.
It's not that they're hard of hearing - they have no problem understanding courteous coworkers who have the sense to keep their voice down so as to not disturb others. Sometimes I miss her[^]

We have a person downstairs like that. I work upstairs. If I can hear him upstairs, imagine what it must be like downstairs.

At least that conveys emotion, and therefore a reason for the loud voice. My loud talker would say:
PROBABLY SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

Heh. Actually he doesn't know me. He stopped by from across the hall to speak to someone who sits near me.
And now I can hear an animated discourse about a piece of code from w-a-y across the hall. Get a (conference) room, you guys...

You'd hate sitting next to me then man. My voice carries. Just is what it is. And in case you're wondering, why yes I did grow up in a family of over-talkers that never wanted to let anyone else get a word in edge-wise.

Except I like being loud. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and manly.

loud talkers at the table in my family usually happens during intervention. I grew up in a family in which some had spurts of loud talking. It was mostly me but some family members would talk loudly at times during dinner but not every time. As far as work, it was different with most yelling after you did something wrong. I did not experience this as much after my first few weeks because after that I started becoming used to the environment and was able to perform better and not make as many mistakes or fix them before they turned into problems. I do not talk loudly as much now. I guess it might have had something with ear wax build up. No kidding! I even had the doctor come in and blast it all out of my ears when I was 12-13 (Name of the tool???).
Anyways, I have very few things that make me angry or have a need to shout.

I'm all for young 'uns talking animatedly. Matter of fact, that's a joy to behold. What gets me is adults who lack courtesy.

Maybe talk was the wrong word, bicker is more appropriate!
