do you get nervous before a fight? I would be very nervous.

A little bit, but not that bad. When I see the opponent I start to get a little more nervous, but I just try and keep my head right.
You got to keep your head on strait and remember that you trained for it. You know where to protect so you don't get knocked out by a stray blow. You know what you're goina do, and you have a game plan. It's more just trying to stay calm so you can do what you trained to do. The adrenaline makes it more difficult. Until it's lower, it's hard to do anything but react. If you train enough, your reactions will still be right. Either way, you got about 15 minutes to work it out.
You just have to smash the other guy with your will. It's a little scary, but you just go in and do your thing. It's just as exciting as it is scary, and there's nothing in the world like it. It's a lot of fun.

There really isn't anything to worry about. If you're getting beaten to a pulp the ref will stop it. You also have the option to stop it at any time (tap out). You have to be careful that you don't get something broken if you're on the ground.
The fear typically comes from pain or bodily harm. You don't have to worry about that when you're fighting, that won't be an issue until after. But, you don't have to fear for your life (aside from some freak accident).

Yeah, we always look forward to the start of American football season when the northern mamby-pamby college boys have to go south and play. It was 100 F every summer when I was growing up and 90% humidity and we had no air conditioning. No big deal.
Of course when it gets below 50 F I get frost bite, so pay back always comes around.

Sat in my chair this morning. The computer rebooted overnight (patch Tuesday?).
Internet Explorer crashes and won't start.
Thunderbird crashes and won't start.
Firefox crashes and won't start.
Anyone else or just me?

Oh well, I guess I'll use my Mac for email and "internet". It's about time I used it for something.

How much did you pay for the Windows box that won't run?

Windows recovery was the best thing they ever added.
Unfortunately, it doesn't go back as far as DOS.

My boss just emailed me about a report I wrote a few weeks ago that has a problem.
It's a report on open logs in our Support system.
His words exactly, "It must be number of logs opened on that day, currently selections is of logs OPENED for that day"
What would the difference between ON and FOR be ?
