This[^] came on the radio today. On a (purportedly) classic rock station.

Sorry, but that isn't horrific, that's every kind of win there is.

It could be worse. A 'classic rock' station in Lafayette recently played some of Justin Beiber's 'songs'. For an hour straight.
It was the most popular station here, now it is the least popular station.

Never heard it or of them?
Thanks Ravi I'll have this song stuck in my head all day.

be thankful, they did even worse, "By the Rivers of Babylon" is an even worse mind worm as is "ma baker" but all pale before "brown girl in the ring"
please for the sake of your sanity DO NOT look these up, I was unable to avoid them growing up at the time, but that is no reason to inflict them on others
PS the most famous thing about Boney M is that they didn't actually sing on the tracks, they mimed and a session group did the words and music (and yes I do mean in the studio as well as on stage)

That's where Milli Vanilli[^] got the idea from.

I know better than to look them up after listening to them. Sounds like disco era sh*t, and I hated disco!

Yeah, I grew up in that time as well and hear fragments of the songs playing in my head as I am reading your post.
To me they kind of fall in the same category as Goombay Dance Band[^].
I totally understand the comments in this thread, but coming across those songs (once or twice in a decade) brings back a lot of good memories, so I really can't bring myself to join the hating on this one.

I do but now that I've heard it, well it can't be unheard.

Reminds me of some German folk music I've heard.
If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.-John Q. Adams You must accept one of two basic premises: Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not alone in the universe. And either way, the implications are staggering.-Wernher von Braun Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.-Albert Einstein

Hey I was 6 when they played that. I'll take disco over rap.

Tomorrow is our national day, therefore it's like Friday afternoon here. Many took off early today, so out of the 9 usual people here in office, 4 remain. And it's so quiet in here now..
