Yes. Yes it would.

Cool. I have the basics of a W8 app written already. I will see about abstracting the backend of it. It's based on the ideas we discussed earlier on this year.

Ah, so a full functional API by end of today a reasonable expectation?

Oh, absolutely. Full OData support, quick as a rabbit, fully redundant with support for every major protocol in existence and even some yet to be created.

Um.
You do recall what SkyNet did to people?

Yes I do, but either we build SkyNet ( and try to control it, yes yes I know ), or Google builds SkyNet

Skynet has already been used we should pick something a little closer to home. We could disguise the name so it could really stand out I recommend something like ConstiPatedNET
As I grow older I've found that pleasing everyone is impossible but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Whose Sensibilities are offended here!
in the UK, the word Sh*t is not in the least offensive, particularly not in the context of Horse Sh*t. Why is, (at least in the UK Version) Sh*t replaced by Sh*t. I could think of more offensve words, but, this substitution is ridiculous.

Sh*t is just one of those words that is seen as a swear word in many communities. You say it's not in the least offensive in the UK - well you are wrong. You really think a 10 year old kid will get away telling his teacher something is sh*t?
Just because it doesn't offend you doesn't mean it might affect someone else differently.

I beg to differ, I'd be offended if someone told me I was talking horse sh*t. I try to stop my son using it in any context.

Firstly this is a global website, not just UK.
Secondly lots of companies have fairly old fashioned approaches to digital language and CP wants to make sure it does not get blocked from companies.
Thirdly I seriously doubt anyone stopped using a website because they were not allowed to swear without censorship.
And finally, and most importantly, it is Maunder's website and he can do whatever he wants to do with it.
So, tough sh*t.

You can probably get around it. Testing some common tricks:
shit (zero width space)
shit (soft hyphen)
shіt (Cyrillic i)
So there you go.
