Metrics-Driven Development[^], or MDD. Don't I know that term from somewhere? Of course, Model-Driven Development[^]...
As if all those abbreviations in IT[^] weren't confusing enough already we now have the same abbreviation for multiple meanings!
Bad news for Metrics-Driven Development though, it seems Model-Driven Development got there first...
Looking at that list of abbreviations shows that MDD isn't the first abbreviation that now has multiple meanings though.
And it's not like we're making that stuff up on the spot or anything. INLWMTSUOTSOA!

I've always wondered why litres are part of the metric system.
Surely they're litric?

I opened this post giving my eye a bit of a rub so my vision was a little blurry, I thought it said Meths-Driven Development, which is probably not a great idea but could be entertaining.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Dave's post below inspired me to stand up and tell the world that I'm alive.
Army is nice, nothing too strong so far. Beer & more twice a week, and we already bonded to a strong group.
My weekend has exactly 30 hours, travelling time included - I slept during ~16 of them.
Gun training is on the schedule next week, I'll share pictures to those interested (if possible).
Did I miss anything (apart from the usual spam and Leslie's death)?

Glad to hear your are all right...
While you take pictures - take care on which end of the gun you are!!!
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

One of the greats: Rockford was superb.
Marlowe [^] with Bruce Lee. I wonder if this counts as one of the very earliest uses of the word 'gay' not as intended! Also, Garner must be one of the only people to outsmart Lee!

I came home from visiting my dad in the hospital and my wife was watching Support Your Local Sheriff. I asked her if she was watching it because JG died, and she said no she hadn't heard about it, but as she was queuing the movie up, she was wondering if he was still alive. Kinda ironic....
