Just saw a new movie last night that had this reference.

What FIFA stands for and that the US actually has a team. Who would have known?

Congratulations for not mentioning the All Time Highest Ratings. (I'm assuming you didn't know about it rather than you passed up the opportunity to mention it)

So does Wales! Allegedly.

Wales do not deserve to be mentioned in the same conversation as Qatar.

Do to the unique way that football works in England and Wales the Welsh are allowed all the good left wingers but their other players have to be average at best.

Yes, but it's three old men and a sheep in goal!
But we aren't trying to host a world cup: we can't afford the bribes.

Are you not English?
I seem to remember when you first signed up you were saying you wasn't Welsh, you just lived there, but now either you've gone native, you just got bored of saying you are not Welsh, or I'm just talking bollox?

Every Country in the world* has a team, that's why it is called a World Cup. Surely no-one would name a competition over the world if the world didn't compete in it.

You may remember that on Tuesday we had some powercuts which fried one of the HDDs in my NAS.
Well, the new HDD arrived this morning, and it's now formatted and the NAS is re-synching its contents.
Ah...that's a good sign for the weekend! Only 15.3 hours till it's all done...

As part of their Outreach Program the England team visited an orphanage in Manaus.
"It was heartbreaking to see the sadness and despair in their eyes, they knew they had no hope or aspirations for the future, I was truly moved by their plight" said Jose, aged 6.

What do you expect, when most of the top-flight clubs in the UK only play expensive foreign players? The only pool of "talent" the national side can draw on is Sunday League Pub teams...
Or is it just the way England normally play that makes them look like a Sunday League Pub team?
