Indeed. I watched the 60 minutes bill gates yesterday where he was showing off the fact he owns Leonardo DaVinci's private manuscripts all written in 'mirror' text (they think because he was left handed). Naturally, this intrigued my procrastonative mind so I googled it to find out that some people can do this naturally.
So I tried it, and lo and behold. I proudly proclaim to my wife 'Hey, guess what, I can write backwards' to which she responds "If you stopped doing all this stupid sh*t you might get some things done...."

I have uninstalled its entry from Programs and Features,
I have removed it from the add ons,
I have removed it from the list of search engines,
... and that was just on Firefox. I have performed similar activities for IE9 and Chrome, but still it persists.
I cant find any other advice on the web.
All help appreciated

Try ADWCleaner[^] works nice for mysearchdial...
Although I'd still love a tool that would prevent it being installed in the first place. I have to clean it off my mums computer every few weeks.

Honestly, just reinstall Windows. You can never be 100% with things like this.

Hi,
For FireFox I found this tip:
Type about:config in the url field , you get a question if you know what you are doing, and then after clicking yes you get a list with preference names and values. Type in the searchbox above "conduit" and you get a list of values with "conduit" in it (if its in your firefox preferences.) Reset all values and it will be gone.
I mention above because I'm not sure you did this , anyhow it's a good way to check if its still in firefox
With friendly greetings,

You may want to check the shortcuts that you have for Firefox. I've encountered this case before with Conduit. it adds the URL onto the end of the shortcut string, automatically calling the Conduit page. Most conduits can be cleared with a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) remover like ADWCleaner, although I don't know exactly if ADWCleaner clears the URL ending on the shortcuts.
Best of luck.

OK, so since the AmishSteak didn't go down too well, despite steak with blue cheese sauce bei9ng a French classic, I have a new one I knocked up yesterday evening:
Steak au sauce vierge
SO that's a virgin olive oil sauce, and the interesting thing about them is they aren't cooked, but warmed through a bit.
So, good glug of olive oil, mashed up garlic clove, a load of sea salt (has to be sea salt), and a dose of dark balsamic vinegar and a touch of demi glace (thick stock reduction)
Just mash it all up and add in any meat juices from the pan.
Its delicious!
(You can vary the recipe, add a mashed up half anchovy, cherry tomatoes, lime juice, anything, and goes well with a lot of meats and fish. )

You never had Bagna Cauda? Oh my god it is good. Soooooooooo gooooooooddddddd. Really.
anyway, Worcestershire sauce has fermented fish as a base, as does Thai fish sauce, as well as Roman Garum; mashing up half an anchovy in almost anything, spag bol even, is nature basic flavour enhancer.

Its a dip for raw veg of olive oil, garlic butter and anchovy, and it is utterly divine.

Add just a little bit to any slow cooked beef roast and it brings out a super intense beefy flavor, though mushrooms, and tomato paste have a lesser, yet similar effect.

Both good pan steak recipes, I think everyone that is condemning your pan sauces believes that the one true way is to grill steak over charcoal and serve it straight up with 2-3 sides and let the steak stand on its own.
For the right kind of steaks, I do like it pan fried on a super hot cast iron skillet, especially when the lows outside are in the upper 80's, and grilling is miserable. Sounds like a good sauce base, though I'm not a huge fan of balsamic vinegar.
You've mentioned a couple of pan sauces, but I don't think you mentioned the most important part, the cut of meat. What kind of steaks are you cooking up?

This happened to be a MY strip and a fillet, though its as often a rib or rump.
I like the punchy simplicity of this sauce vierge, it isn't much more than just oil and salt, the vinegar and garlic just lift it a bit.

Strip and rib eye work well in the pan, though they work well everywhere. I haven't found anything to do with sirloin other than stir fries or grilling
One of the more interesting things I've tried has just been olive oil and lemon juice drizzled on the steak on the plate. It adds a nice extra flavor to a grilled steak without overpowering. It would be a complete waste of fond for a pan steak.
Also, how warm do you start your steak? Depending on what I'm going for and the thickness of the steak, sometimes I'll put it in a 180F oven for a bit before frying, that way I'm just searing the surface, it also helps with even cooking on a really hot grill.

A basic sauce vierge. Chuck in some good sea salt, it HAS to be sea salt, chemical salt is crap, and its all you need!

I have a smoke alarm in the hotel I am in right now else its as hot as I can get it. At home I have a cast iron skillet and a gas hob, I cook it up till its smoking before putting the meat in, you get an instant sear and depth of flavour on the crust.
I nere grill though, I cant stand BBQ food, its always too dry, too cooked, too burnt. Give me a pan cooked piece of meat, two veg, and a great sauce, and I am in heaven!
