One thing I have ( that is somehow related to the "different culture/different strokes" thread below) been wondering : where does the "PLLLZZZ Urgenttttt" actually come from ? Is this something cultural, like an idioms of some sort in another language ? Or a bad translation ?

These are morons, too - The worst kind of morons since they mostly think that they are the new Steve Jobs. Like the fellow apprentice who has the job to make a C# eLearning and decided to leave object orientation away and present the procedural way (Console apps yelling "Hello World" at you, and stuff like that). When I pointed him towards this lack, and he answered that:
- He wanted to keep it easy
- Didn't want to use C instead because the Syntax is different ("You have pointers in C")
- Object orientation doesn't needs to be understood when learning C#
I was hardly able to contain myself - These are future Pros.

You have pointers in C# but they are called references and they a little bit different
Well your friend is right who the hell needs to know OOP, it is never used anyway

You can has pointerzz[^]
Beside of that, claiming to make an eLearning (or any "Introduction" to C#) without mentioning classes and enumerations seems pointless to me.

"Use the right tool for the right job."
Most problems I work on don't require OOP; why should I use a language that demands it? (I do, but why should I?)
You'll never get very far if all you do is follow instructions.

Sorry to disagree here, but pointers and references are not "a little bit different" - a reference is a very, very different animal from a pointer and has a significantly higher cost-of-use.
Pointers are available in C#, but only within unsafe code areas.

Spellchecker is quite correct. If there was a need for a word for 'the quality of being a a moron' which, as the majority of dictionaries agree, there really isn't, it would have to be drawn from the adjective and would therefore be 'moronicity' or 'moronicness'. As a general rule, when comparing a Google search with a commercial spell checker (or any other 'knowledge' source), it is safer to assume that it is results from the former which are more likely to involve writers of diminished mental capacity.

I personally don't think that it comes from a bad translation - It's a cultural thing. Mind you that there are cultures where one isn't motivated to actually put effort into something they get paid for.
