Do you really expect others to answer that for you?

You know that the best diet is the DRC diet... you don't eat and practice DRC all day.
The most effective one though is the one that has a big guy chasing you to give you the best DRC of your life...
Just come if you start with any of them and tell...

So after more than 26 years I'm moving out of my first house/home.
My parents bought a new house and I'm moving with them.
My own house will hopefully be ready later this year (there have been lots of problems with the build...).
It amazes me how much stuff I actually have. And how little of it I actually use.
I am subscribed to three magazines. I've kept about 15 years of a popular scientific magazines, about 15 years of gaming magazines and 10 years of a (metal) music magazine.
Furthermore I have about 1000 CD's and LP's and 500 DVD's.
And some random stuff that has sentimental value, like gifts from people and souvenirs from faraway places.
And I get to move all of it again in a few months...

Just think, if we didn't have so much stuff, we wouldn't even need houses!
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Or at least smaller ones...

I heard a definition of a house as follows:
A house is where you keep all your stuff while you are out getting more stuff.
That sums it up for me.

Very well said, that's the extra baggage we live with.

It's amazing how much stuff we accumulate and ususally I move it all and throw out un-needed stuff after I move it?

The question is what you don't need. You may not need it now, but maybe later.
Or you might just like to hang on to stuff just because you've had it for so long and you feel good having it.
When I ask my parents why they hang on to stuff they don't need they answer "so you can throw it out after we passed away", I guess that's how it goes...

and I find as soon as I throw it out I need it. If I would have hung on to stuff from when I was a kid I'd be a rich man today? You never know what has value.

I learned a while ago if I haven't used something in the past 5 years i don't need to carry it around.

Or it might have sentimental value...
For me throwing out stuff is never easy. There's probably a reason I have something and I've kept it up to now. I probably paid for it

That is about the only reason to keep things you don't use, but only keep things that have very real sentimental value, not just old junk from your childhood.
