It's also my birthday today.

Are you Chuck Norris?
Happy birthday! (It's a bugger when they fall on a Monday, isn't it? )

Chock Nurris [sic]? Not moi. If he came to the UK and boarded a bus without his bus pass, would anyone try to Chuck him off it?
Mrs. Wife said I can treat myself to some goodies for myself just as long as she knows how much.
That rules out the Ducati 1199 Panigale.
A clutch pencil should be okay.

Bummer!
They make very nice motorcycles. Licencectomies on two wheels!
How fast does the pencil go?

Same wishes to you, have a good day. I'd love to help with the Ducati, but I have the same problem with a Royal Enfield that wants to be friends with me.

Does Auntie Liz know you want to buy her chickens?
Is this an Indian Enfield, or a "proper" Brit?

Nice bike - not my taste (I prefer twins, preferably 90 degree Vs) but I'm betting it's loads of fun (provided you stay well away from motorways - but that applied to all British bikes, especially Notrun ComeAndGos I used to run). Have you tried one?

I have, hence I want!
Actually, I'd like that kind of style but I'd also like to take it to Hungary which would require a short motorway run (around 1500km) to get there.
Her Esteemed Chancellor of the Purse Strings has said kindly that I may buy one , but only with my money .
Guess I need to work.

¡Ay, caramba!
Rather you than me - my back would never take it!
(And you better get it well and truly run in before you try that one!)

That'll be the Norton Commando? Was that the bike that you needed an oil pan under the sump to catch what the sump couldn't hold?

That's the one - except it was dry sump, and mine didn't leak hardly at all... But you only needed one tool to completely dismantle it.
A motorway...

Thank you Sir Ginaholic. A good few weeks ago I was looking through some classic bike magazines at WHS and one had a restoration article about a Royal Enfield. A beautiful bike indeed. It also had an article about the BMW R90/S a bike I used to have way back in the, ahem, 70s.

Chuck Norris is 74 today. Maybe we ought to celebrate by telling Chuck Norris jokes?
