This does not sound too challenging. Is the strategy here that if they can't work this one out they fail? If they can it does not seem to prove much.

No - the strategy is to find out how they go about thinking about finding the solution.
How would you solve it?

"Perhaps the form was misfiled as the Reverend Spooner was prone to do?"(8,5)
I like this one.

morpheme switch?
switching morphemes is what Rev. Spooner was prone to do...
morpheme could be a spoonerism for form and misfiled switched?

I believe SWITCH has 6 letters.

So it does... any chance you miscounted in the clue?

Last time I remember, each CP member has their own URL that returns nothing but a small box containing only that CP member's stats and stuff.
Could someone please show me how to find this URL?

Shocking news that Facebook will buy fast-growing mobile-messaging startup WhatsApp for $19 billion in cash and stock. Clickly[^]

It's not shocking from my POV - It's rather something that was predictable. The rumors were there for a long time.

The shocking part was with the huge amount of $ into it. It was way more than they gave for Instagram only $1 billion.

I have in the past occasionally received emails from WhatsApp, supposedly containing messages for me.
You mean it's not some spammer trying to trick people into opening attachments?
Oh, well.
