Don't think it is a repost:
Time...
XKCD posted a cartoon "Time" a while ago. every few hours it would update.
Now it has ended and you can see the entire sequence here:

I thought Time was great, especially the exchange between Rick & Viv:
Time: RICK: I said, that'll teach you to mix your drinks!
VYVYAN: I already know how to mix my drinks, Rick.
MIKE: Yeah. Paint stripper and bleach. Lethal.
[...]
VYVYAN: I must be hallucinating. What's good for a hangover?
MIKE: Drinking heavily the night before.

Because that's what the TV show did: http://www.ratman.biz/archive/young_ones/time.html[^] - it's about 1/3rd of the way down, just search in page for "bleach".

In the Farley Ward of Luton they had voted in Councillor Robin Harris.
He has resigned, forcing a local bye-election for the seat.
I have been asked to stand in the forthcoming election.
There is not a great hope of victory, it is a very underprivileged area and Labour are a shoo-in to win it.
However, I have been told that if I stand they will offer me Limbury Ward in the 2015 Full Council Elections.
Limbury is, shall we say, a more likely chance for success.
It would only take three hundred votes to swing it.
I could be good for a councillorship in May 2015!
I have to face the selection committee, but I am on the shortlist.
It is a very short shortlist.
It has one name on it

I am not a snob.
I know many an individual from the lower orders.

On the contrary - in a public office he will have time for 2 or 3 times a day...
