I bought a puppy on Saturday, (Miniature Schnauzer) and took a couple of days off to train him.
Took him for jabs today and have been playing around in the garden.
So much easier than working!
Working on the house training, reckon I will have him clean by the week end.

Never had a Schnauzer, big or little, but at the end of the first week mine always just looked at me and said "What you talkin about Willis!"
Maybe it was the trainer?

Everyone needs a puppy break from time to time. Does wonders.

You can get Puppy Training Pads[^] (online or from pet shops, most stock them). They have a pheromone which encourages the pup to pee there rather than anywhere else, which can really help in training, particularly when they are first left alone.
We use them below the cat litter trays to catch everything Dij throws over the side since they are smell eating, and waterproof!

The Jade Rabbit has taken a 360 degree composite of its landing site on Mare Imbrium: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap140203.html[^] As far as I can tell, these are the first high-resolution pictures taken from Luna's surface since... well, ever. The previous landings all relied on low resolution analog imaging and even lower resolution, television quality digital, and there have been no controlled landings since Apollo 17 on 11 December 1972.
And there is only one rover, not three.

China has done it! what would be good is if they went to one the Apollo landing sites and that would wrap that up for good!

I like how as the rover is leaving the area, it starts leaving tracks in the middle of nowhere. I assume do to the time lapse being before it got where it was.

Not really time lapse, but yeah. The composite does have a kind of Whovian temporal disjoin to it.
Added Looking at the image again, you will note a slight "wash-out" effect spaced along the upper portion. At a guess, I think that might have been glare from the sun, and that the composite shots were taken as the sun appeared to move across the lunar sky, giving optimal light while keeping the lander's shadow out of the frame. The wash-out seems to match up with the appearance and disappearance of the rover's tracks.

Sorry to hear that. Yes, that is a problem. I also have a friend on facebook that has passed away. But his facebook account is still active... That's quite strange.

Well as for being alive, I'm not quite sure about you (despite what it says on your profile), so don't expect a friend request from me...
