I'll have to think about joining this one, don't want to rush into it you know.
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I'm talking about ChrisElston[^]He was one of the funniest people on here, but his account seems to have gone. I hope you lot haven't got rid of him with your over-zealousness on the report button.
Back in the day the uni-voter was referred to as having a small penis, nowadays it seems normal to report people for trivialities. The Americans have already all gone, Pompeyboy3, and now Chris Elston amongst others. You lot are making this place a poorer place than it use to be.

I have reported this post and you as abusive.

I know you're only joking but it is only a matter of time before the regulars start doing that.

I suppose that's unavoidable on a forum when any old riff-raff is allowed to report items, people will always abuse the privilege.
This moderation topic is always a hot potato on most of the sites I visit, "The Lounge" is no exception to this rule.
My motto is never take things to serious in life (that may sound a bit serious!)

Are you sure you don't mean http://www.codeproject.com/Members/chris-elston[^]? In all seriousness, anyone who is thrown off because of over zealous, or plain vindictive, downvoters has the right of appeal, and if allowed, Chris will reinstate their account.

That account has no messages posted. No I mean ChrisElston, him who had the petition for the allotments.

Interesting that you are asking this question having only joined the site today.

He last posted on Dec-13. Seems like some were stuck in the Christmas Time.

He has been around with different usernames and recently took a time off, it was his own decision to focus on the job a bit more again.

Oh my GOD, how did it happen?
Was the gravity pushing it or pulling it?
I wish I was there.

The lawn gnomes pushed it and then let the gravity do the rest.

Ha! No: just thought it was bullshit: this was amusing.
