Thank god you saw this fast enough!
That would be the worst thing that could happen and no one would have noticed it!

That is not awkward. That is incompetence on their side.
On your side it is an opportunity to really make them look like a f_d.

And this is a surprise how? The only times I've ever been desperate enough to call tech support on a product issue I either got a drone reading from a script or a recording.

I was all excited that my "Live coding?" post got mentioned in today's Code Project news email, but it appears that the post is completely gone from code project now. Am I crazy?

It's still there (currently it's on page 3). There are problems with the links in CP today - people have been reporting problems about this over in the Suggestions and Bugs forum.

I was confused this morning when I discovered the Lounge had 0 posts. F5 cleared it up though.

Mrs Wife must have been real bad to get me for so long. Today it is 13 years since we met at a Christmas party and I love her more as each day passes.
As a sad side note, the bar we met in is being closed, with only 6 weeks notice, because the mofu local mayor's mate 'needs' the property.

WestJet Christmas Miracle: real-time giving[^]
It's worth watching the 5 minutes. The airline sets up a kiosk where the passengers tell Santa what they want for Christmas. While the flight is in the air they are buying and wrapping the presents at the other end.
Cool story.

Last Thursday I posted about early snow, and - with a bit of irony - said that there is no school here if snow over 2 cm.
It became the ever largest snowing since there are recorded statistics about it. We got 97 cm of snow, 4 days with no electricity, no phone of any kind, poor water supply and -5 Celsius.
Even today that we do have all this back there are other 14,000 houses that did not...
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is (V).
