Christmas Bonus
This is the last of the CCC's until the 2nd of January so I have given a few to get on with.
The First is today's proper one, the rest are just extras...
"Cattle at home before midnight force evil Queen to bend her legs?"(8,7)
And for further delight...
"Given a large drink and a spliff the journalist can twist arms."(6,7)
"Good composer put orchestra here at rock venue."(6,3)
"Goldfish in silent tomb"(9)
"www.bowler.con"(3,5) <- My Favourite Clue of the Day!!!
Best of luck all you cruciverbalists.

Initially started the other CCCs. Knew I'd not get first. I'll let latecomers eventually resolve solution.

Does that mean you have rattled them off already?

offshore - on the platform/rig in the water
e.g. "Joe is working as an electrician at a construction site, how can he go about getting a job offshore?"
onshore - on the land, also often referenced by the term 'beach'.
e.g. "Joe was such a useless elephant, I sent him back to the beach."
The shoreline is the divide between the two entities.

It is the last day in the office for dear Mrs Wife, and she has taken a HUGE box in as she knows all staff will 'pop in' to wish her the seasonals. As she's the boss at the moment, her boss is back in Magyarland until January, she's done a Ferrero Rocher Tower for them to pick from.
