Why don't people realise that bacon is for eating????? Any bacon sacrificed just for its delicious aroma has been wasted! The only part of the body bacon should be rubbed on is the tongue!

... of a Cheyney Incident when DD asks his MD about a pay rise during this morning shoot?

That may be why the MD invited him - to pull a Cheyney instead of giving him a rise...

I quail at the idea of such an unpheasant shot. Dalek has enough holes, already.
If you seek to aid everyone that suffers in the galaxy, you will only weaken yourself … and weaken them. Firstly CCCs are pretty educational. Resolving clues and intimation lead logically into exposing solutions for a black game.
So here is one of mine ...

Ahh, the good ol' Capercaillies.
Promontory - Cape
King - R (from Rex)
Charles - C
Unwell - Ail
Remains in bed - lies

So far so good. I could follow your solution, but for the "I" bit. Where does the "I" come into play?
I'll never catch onto this game no matter how long I watch.

Charles I signifies Charles The First or in CCC-speak the first letter of the word Charles

Thanks, that makes sense and I think I've even seen this usage in DD's CCC before.

It's not "I" as in "Me", it's a Latin numeral one.
"Charles I" was the first (of two so far) English kings called Charles - he hid in a tree and had his head cut off when Parliament got a bit snotty with him in the seventeenth century.

I got that, but I wasn't sure what it meant in CCC terms.
Tom's explanation above yours helped.
Thanks!

If you want to play along this week, DD has a theme and it's to do with what he's doing today. Capercaillies are large grouse.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

For some strange reason, the network admins at my current employer block access to codeplex.com where the AdventureWorks2012_Data.mdf are hosted, so i can't get to download them.
Also for some strange reason i also happen to move a round with a Tor Browser folder on one of my USB disks, so i popped it up and there i was, able to browse to codeplex.com & i am about to download those database files.
My question though is, will the admins nab me, will they be able to tell that i used Tor? Or i am just developing a false sense of Anonymity.
|
|
|
|
|
Depends on how large their knowledgebase is.
They might only be able to tell if they scan through the networklogs and know the tor Servers you connected to, as far as i know.
But i won't bet they can't. Also is tor not safe anymore, if someone now attacks your Company you might get fired
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}

Don't worry that was just to sense your mind of thinking twice if you want to use a Network that is not safe and not used by your Company.
They should not be able to trace the attack back through the tor Network if one would occur.
But i recommend you not to do that again and instead ask your admins to download the file for you or grant you Access to the download Server
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}
