Then i'd say, the awkward moment when you type format c:
into cmd and press enter
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}

I once tested a driver on the same machine as I was building it on.
It BSODed, and when I rebooted and opend the project half my source files contained nothing but full stops.
I didnt do that again.

No, I was really developing a kernel driver, crashed my machinem and it trashed half my source code.

I have no idea how "tweaking produciton code, because it has to woek" is in any way relevant then.

Try the following:
Write some long text in Notepad pressing Ctrl + S from time to time.
At one point you accidently press Ctrl + A instead and continue typing.
Next time you press Ctrl + S again.

It's debug or bugger off, so I'm going for the later. I'll pick up the girls, then make an early start on supper with some mulled wine to keep out the chill.

Shirley that's a typo, shouldn't it be mulled gin?
