had to parse your post a bit. I've worked with CE for 8 years now. One of the things I had to get used to was Microsoft renaming everything (they got all whacko about embedded support). To my knowledge, yes CE 6.0 is the same as Windows Embedded 6.0 - code wise. I'm sure there is some marketing type that will jump me.

They *really* lost their way.. especially with the development tools.. You could almost see the political infighting. They have religion now, but so much damage has been done.

My previous flirtation with Embedded Windows ended rather abruptly when I couldn't alter the registry of the '104s because some didn't want to pay the licence fee and it went no further. I found the whole thing odd like you had a level of control but the system would wander off at times and do something while stacking your commands which could lead to a mess

I had a returned email.
Couldn't be delivered as the address was not recognised.
I looked at the IP from the person who typed it in (It was sent as a form via a website).
On typing in the IP I was taken to a Belkin Router set up page.
It was asking for a password.
I typed in the surname of the person and behold!
Full access to change settings or anything else I wanted for that matter.
Now, being a good person, I did nothing.
I shall attempt to contact them directly and explain why they should make their password more difficult to guess.
If I can get it on the very first attempt, then so can other people.

I think it's more important to block WAN access than setting up a difficult password. You could be nice and configure the router for him that way

I was using "blabla" as my WEB mail password for a long time. One day I tried to open the mail from another country (Ukraina), and was brutally rejected, after typing the captcha correctly 10 times.
When I went back home, I found the WEB mail provider message. They proudly informed me, that several attempts to break by account from Ukraina were prevented by their security system. I was so scared, that changed my password immediately.

Hi All,
Walking to work I walked past a big building site which has closed the pavement one side so I cross over to the other side a walk past the wooden sheets used as barriers, some one had done some not unattractive graffiti on them, fine it's city (Bristol by the way) one of the panels must have needed replacing as it was the standard battle ship grey with some graffiti sprayed on it "bourgour nonsense" with an arrow to the previous design. Lead me to think that very act is a definition of Bourgeois Nonsense, as it spelt wrong and a lack of a capital B, so who is the most bourgeois the badly taught graffiti artist (who can't spell), the graffiti artist who is talented (not my taste, though) or me for seeing it and going "oh dear the youth of today day"

You are on a slippery slope, my friend.
Just wait, today it is "missing capital letter" and "bad spelling". Tomorrow it's "Grocer's Apostrophe" laughing at "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" by Lynne Truss and fury at misused semicolons. Then all that is left is a trip to the balaclava shop before you join the Militant Wing of the Apostrophe Protection Society.
Welcome Aboard!

It was not the spelling or punctuation the very act of spraying "Bourgeois Nonsense" is Bourgeois Nonsense is it not ?
