Chinese is an example, they use Family name then Given name.
So if you saw Ping Lee, he would be addressed as Mr Ping, not Mr Lee.

No, that is a totally different set of circumstances.
Hong Kong people will have their full Chinese names but frequently adopt an English name for convenience.
(Strangely, Peter and Wendy are the most common as Peter Pan was the first Western book translated into Cantonese).
For example you would know a man called Peter Yip whose Chinese name was Yip Peng Lee.
You would address him as Mr Yip, or, slightly informally as Peter. If you knew him well you could call him Lee, and if you were very close and had permission, Peng Lee.
Mao Tse Tung means Little Cat Hair.

So, do friends call him "Pubic Hair"?
Or, maybe Hairball?

They have the same last name

Atcherley, Li Lian jie (Jet Li) and Lee Jun fan (Bruce Lee) do actually have the same first name (李), but we ignorant Westerners spell one of them wrong.
Gong Li confuses things even more, because Li is her forename, not her surname, and it's a completely different word (俐).

Read em and weep. Falsehood's programmers believe about names.[^] There's precisely zero chance that any functional system could meet all the nasty edge cases the human race has invented.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Truly a nice read. Number forty (40) might not be an assumption. People do have names. You gotta call someone something.

Hello all,
At work I changed the predefined IE11 spell checker to English as I mostly write in English forums.
At home I need to switch from English to Spanish often.
Is there any way to do it in an easy way?
Using IE11 and Windows 7.
The only way I've found to change it is:
Tools --> Manage add-ons --> Spelling correction --> change the predefined one.
Is there any way to make it easier?
I've seen people in the Internet explaining how to do it in Windows 8 (changing the input OS language). But this is not working for me.
Any hint?
As always thank you in advance!

I think the easiest way would be to spell correctly the first time. Then you wouldn't need a spell checker...
