Anyone here playing the game? Here's[^] what it is. It is by NianticLabs that was acquired by Google.
Some may think this is the new way for NSA to track where you go. I don't care though. What would excite NSA about me going to work and grocery stores most of the time?

I registered when it was in beta, they didn't get back in touch. Pfffft.
Can't think there'd be many portals suggested here in Sunderland, there are only a handful of landmarks: The Stadium of Sh*te, the place where "Metric Martyr" Steve Thoburn parks his "Cherished Plate" Bentley and the Salvation Army hostel for the terminally drunk & drug-addled.

Played it for 2-3 months... Pretty much lost the interest in it though. It got very repetitive in my opinion. They added a lot of features since then, however...
is it worth to give it another shot?

Well... you got Resonators, Bursters, Shields and Portal Keys and were able to hack portals, set resonators and link portals. that's it.
What has changed since then?
