Someone had to flip the LP over, we took turns.

Cool video, I recall playing a number of those tunes over the years.
I do find it interesting how different players will play the licks differently and get essentially the same sound.
That got me to thinking how I would have absolutely loved having the tools available to young guitarists today for learning songs. The internet with instant access to tabs and YouTube. Not to mention the recording capabilities one has with the PC these days. I remember renting a "portable" 85 pound Tascam 388 8 track recorder for $350 for 2 days (I believe they retailed for around $3000 back then).
It was broke, so I fixed it.

"....but then I can only play the fool."
The main problem with playing the fool is that fool lessons are so expensive.
I know this only too well.

"I'm an accoustic acoustic man myself...."
If Nagy Vilmos was so inclined, he could play the fool unplugged.
I love electric (2) and acoustic guitars (3) and I even love xylophone (0).
Just wish that I could play them like, the masters or as I do in my dreams.

Having just read the I feel stupid thread, I was rewarded with a duet of epiphanies:
I am not alone in the occasional* tail-chase - in fact, I now feel like part of a community.
The fessing up in the thread posts explains all too clearly why the lounge is what it is
Thus, to our mutual credit and glory, we all wipe with but one hand!

You just reminded me (or should I say, inspired me?) about an ecological breakthrough.
I'll allow you to invest in my plastic film bathroom tissue. Instead of flushing it away, simply squeegee it clean and hang up for the next person. We can have any number of colors and, of course, interesting textures. No-more break-through, either!
An outstanding idea and a bold stroke for environmentalism and the plastics industry.
Thanks!

Well, OK. I thought it would be a real hit on your side of the Atlantic, especially in France.
