This means I to need to be on the bike behind him. He is just 4 and apparently it is too dangerous to let them be on their own. In mine's case, it is dangerous for others if he is let loose.

Know how you feel 40° here yesterday

Not sure where you are, but it's been in the low to mid 30s (90-95F) in Denver for the past two weeks. For us this is normal. Those folks in the UK dealing with the 40+ (100F+) temps are suffering and I feel for them. That's way outside their normal temperature range.

I am in Netherlands. We had high 30s yesterday and it was too much already. Even today I feel the wrath. I want my gray, gloomy, cold and wet days back.

May I continue your thought: dan!sh wrote: I want my gray, gloomy, cold and wet days back ... if I would have wanted bright sunny days I would have moved to Hawaii
However, if you want, you can come to Montreal where extremes are the norm. Goes between -45 wind chill in winter, to +40 humidex in the summer.

Yep - if you're not used to the temperatures (hot or cold) then they're a problem. I'm hoping the entire northwestern part of Europe starts cooling down soon as it's been far too hot for yall.

Sorry to hear, we here (in Chicago) had similar heat in 1995, killed a lot of people. Hope things improve for you.

I`m asking because usually the heat comes in waves and surrounds you 360 degrees so it makes no difference if you`re standing or sitting.

I wouldn't complain too much.

Another nail in the coffin of all reality shows. God, they are getting so stupid. Or maybe I'm just realizing their stupidity more deeply. Ungh.

One of the benefits of dropping our cable TV and just keeping broadband Internet (other than reducing our bill from US $220 to $50 per month) is I no longer have to spend the effort to ignore the crap.
