Much chirping around nifty crain (10)
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!" - Hunter S Thompson - RIP

Anagrams are getting just too easy ... and I'm reasonably sure CRAIN isn't an actual word ...

TT's not the same on TV.
Mind you, it's been a very long time since I was last there ...

I follow the live commentary on manxradio.com - and the live timings on iomttraces.com, it's the closest you can get to being there - I used to go every year to either the Manx GP or the TT.

He's Ximenean, so he had to write crain instead of French fear.
My new word for the day. It's in neither Merriam-Webster nor Cambridge.

Survey Voting Form - Best Article of May 2022[^]
I've been noticing that 99% of our 15M members don't seem to vote in the article survey of the month.
There are some great articles -- and no, I'm not in the list, haven't published in a couple months, so this is not an attempt to get votes.

There's always good articles to vote on, the problem is picking the best of them.
