Where does Small rug and damaged coin fit in ? I think you're correct though

No idea - my subconscious took one look at the clue and yelled it at me. I can't fit any of it in though ... it's brighter than I am most of the time.

Also, it was a bit of a rushed clue... so I am expecting some complaints

Seems like a fine clue to me, but I won't be able to do Monday's so shalln't try and seize the title.

So maybe you remembered I told you I would change jobs within my company a couple of months ago, after about 10 years in my current position.
Smaller business unit, more challenging, startup mentality, and .. again software. In any case something different, I needed the change. One big flagship project and lots of promising new smaller projects in the new work environment.
My change was accepted 6 weeks ago.
My division management board, which supervises my old and new business unit, was replaced 4 weeks ago.
The new management board cancelled the flagship project 2 weeks ago, for some reasons. Roundabout 50 people will have to find a new job now.
I am starting there in two weeks, doing ... I do not know what. Probably looking for a new job as well anytime soon.
I have some interesting times ahead of me

Good luck!
Me too I star a new job in 2 weeks! At EA Games!

In EA Games? HQ or Berlin office? I worked in Berlin for 5y and it was an awesome time
Interesting, that they use employee monitoring software only in HQ in Sweden and in Berlin

Yeah, I thought about you when I read some hackers got the source code of the Frostbite engine you'd be working on!
At least you can be well prepared on your first day
