A prison within a prison.
Flu quarantines 700 inmates at Cook County Jail[^]
I hope they were all already prisoners. "Hey guard, I was just visiting and this quarantine started, you got to let me out."
The quarantine means that the inmates in the minimum and medium security divsion will essentially be stuck in their cells and will not be able to have visitors
Sounds like jail.
While the quarantine is in affect, the division’s living, dining, shower, toilet, and all "high touch surface areas" will be disinfected.
So, before this, they weren't? Probably how this all started.

Did you spot these three? Drugs raid finds a little bit of cocaine[^]
Did the one in the middle escape from Springfield? Because those are seriously cartoon numbers!
If you get an email telling you that you can catch Swine Flu from tinned pork then just delete it. It's Spam.

Springfield is actually only a few hours away.
If you have faith in humanity, I strongly advise against looking up new stories in Chicago, it will crush that faith. Some highlights from the front page include:
9 year old took part in armed robbery (it was a paintball gun).

15 year old arrested for 19th time, 2nd firearms violation.

not to worry, I lost faith in humanity as a whole a long time ago.

Right... because influenza usually spreads by striking everyone at once.
It's either food poisoning being covered up, or a zombie outbreak.
