Congratulations, Griff!
I deserve the CodeProject Lappie Sleeve 'coz I'm inlove with Bob and I think, just a little Lappie Sleeve with Bob on it will help me get enough sleep at night.
Don't mind those people who say you're not HOT. At least you know you're COOL.

I managed to get my employer to buy me one of these, Yoga 2 Pro[^] and it's in Codeproject Orange (ok, that also happens to be the colour of the company I work for too.)
Where else will I get a colour coordinated sleeve frome?
In addition, my missus surprised me by putting my CP iron on logo onto a cloth bag as a surprise, so I can't put it on a polo-shirt any more...

I bought myself one of those recently - my new laptop.
What do you think of it? I've had to quarter the resolution on it to 1600x900 because it was insane before. Even at that resolutions everything is super-crisp.
I like it, although it is a bit big in 'tablet mode'.

I do find quite a lot of headaches with the super high resolution - and including the software I produce, so I've found it quite useful for real testing.
Visual Studio is nice with lots of real estate, though even there I find problems with badly sized dialog parts.
Games and movies play very nicely,
The battery life and portability is excellent, making my train life easier.
I am happy it's not the PC I have to live with 100% though.

I'm with Marco on this one. But if you don't find anyone better deserving I need a new coffemug.
My old one is worn out, and an upgrade from teddybears to Bob would be nice.

No thanks. Put your laptop in one of those things and a woman will never look at you again.

I have the underwear version of it. Maybe that explains all...

Didn't the black skin color of your kids made you suspicious??
I will never again mention that Dalek Dave was the poster of the One Millionth Lounge Post, nor that it was complete drivel.

Now that you mentioned it, I need to check that "uncle bob" story they sometimes talk about.

0. I'll let Herself know about the bank account you siphon off money to for your 'little flock'.

According to thesaurus[^]:
bribe => blackmail
threat => blackmail
So...You asked for it...

Because they are in a thesaurus doesn't mean they are interchangable; just that they share common traits.
"A bribe" is a (hopefully large) donation of money or goods to influence a decision; "Blackmail" is intimidation to exhort money, services, or silence from somebody - and generally involves a threat.
I am amenable to bribes (or I would be if I had ever been offered anything larger than a night on the beer), but I do not respond well to threats!

OT. Are you drunk?

Nope. Been years since I drank enough to be drunk!

I didn't mean - drunk of drinking some beverage, but drunk of yourself, your (well deserved) success, your idea of this competition, of the whole situation...

Congratulations! I don't want a laptop sleeve either so I won't be entering, but good job on winning!

What happens if you win?
[Edit]
Congrats BTW!

Dear Mr. Grif,
I have a lappie but I'm taking a trip this coming week and plan on giving it to my brother.
But I could use the sleeve to trade for a new suit[^] so I can become a fashion blogger[^].
I really really need this job so I can afford to feed my pet sloth, he has very discerning taste.
Your consideration in this matter is much appreciated and I really deserve this sleeve.
BTW Congrats OG
