They don't guarantee that with release versions either.

Are you referring to my Q&A questions? If so, no, that's because I'm finding myself kicking and screaming at MVC and EF and Razor, which is all a pile of rubbish IMO.

It's only for test - in a VM. to see what we got...

I installed on on my MacBook using Parallels 10 - didn't take too long, maybe a couple of hours
I really like the look of MVC6 although I'm going to have to change some of my existing code around routing.
I also think that the project.json file format makes sense but they could probably do with some kind of GUI for editing it in the final version (especially for large and/or complex project.json files).

I'm going to do the same.
Windows 10 is already installed. It took about 40 minutes to download it and VirtualBox and install both. So it was the VS installation that took so long?

Definitely...It is a two part install - the first for the Visual Studio and the second is for the mobile platform...
Took almost 6 hours (including download)...

I feel your pain. I had to update to SP 1 for W7 to install VS 2013 Community. That wasn't so bad because there's a full ISO and specific processor EXE's you can download.
But VS 2013 Community, there's no such thing, so it took 4 hours on my laptop, it'll take another 4 hours on my desktop. Couldn't find a a full download file for the thing.
If I want to install it in a VM, again, sit and wait around for the web installer.
I hate web-based installers.

There is no ISO (full download) for Visual Studio, but if you have an MSDN subscription (and even then only for final products)...

Indeed. I do (or did actually) have an MSDN subscription, so I happily have 2005, 8, 10, 12 full ISO's.

Which remind me that I have a MSDN subscription - so checked. I was wrong - there is 2015 preview ISO, but no 2013 Community at all...I was just an idiot not to think about it...

I am getting desperate - so if this post is too far OT , my apology.
I have successfully downloaded and unzipped Code:Blocks for Arduino.
Call me stupid - <b>but I cannot figure out HOW to actually install it!</b>
There is no Setup.exe or anything anywhere on web on how to install it, nada.
I got regular C:B running but cannot find "Arduino plug-in" for that either.
On top of all that - two Code:Blocks forums do not return my registration, so I cannot post this to them, bummer!
Please help frustrated OF.
Thanks
Cheers Vaclav
