Yeah, as some may have noticed i was away last week... i had 5 days off but "OFF" is the wrong word to call it. I need vacation from my vacation, everyday something was to do and yesterday i had to cook a dinner for my criminal dinner party. Now it's up to relaxing today ... at work, impossible. Wednesday is the next though step, Rock am Ring is calling. Anyone going to this festival by the way?
I need to get more coffee

We were 12 p and we had a tomato & mozzarella salad and some carrots + Paprika as 1st course.
An asparagus cream soup (fresh made with fresh asparagus) with selfmade croutons as 2nd.
Then i bbq'ued some meat that i had in selfmade marinade and handed a selfmade Tzatziki[^] with bread as 3rd course.
And as finale i made a pina colada tiramisu.
I chose the bbq because i didn't know what to cook for 12 p that fits medival times, as our criminal dinner was set on a "castle" in medival times

Tiramisu didn't fit in medival times! Others quite good. Asparagus cream soup is yummi!!

Yeah i know, but it was easy to prepare on day before the dinner and so i had a little pause while instructing the next steps of the criminal case :P
Indeed it is yummi!

3rd course. Your starters wouldn't please me, but I imagine this worth the wait.

times Good choice; I would have gone for a perpetual stew - easier to make, but no match for marinated and bbq-ed meat.

The only starter that pleased me was the soup XD I don't like salad at all!
Thanks for the idea with the stew, sounds good and seems to be really easy to cook. But as you stated the meat was worth it and i tasted very good although i would add selfmarinaded spareribs next time as they are yummi as hell

If I would, I'd go to Wacken.
But I have small children and a wife that's not interested in the same music as I am.

My festival days seem to be over for a similar reason

Turned on my PC this morning and a little flag has appeared in the system tray: "Get Windows 10"
I dunno. Should I click it? Or is it going to be more Win 8.2.1 and really annoy me?
Now, where did I put that disk imager...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

It's not out yet... my family's Windows 7 machine got that popup earlier. It looks like it's just a way for you to reserve a free upgrade to Windows 10, so that when it's released, it will auto-download to your PC. So... I mean, if you want it when it comes out, go for it.

Oh, crap... it's in my tray, too. Is this a test? Do I really trust Microsoft to automatically install a new OS when they can't get a simple patch to work 50% of the time? I think I'll let it stew a while, until I hear some reports of how it all went, and how much irreplaceable data was lost in the process.

That was my (rather selfish) thought as well: let the "early adopters" take the pain... And do a fresh disk image before installing...
