Look at moto phones for something cheap. For casual use (read not gaming) the moto E/G get good reviews and they're $75/179 here. An E is probably going to be my next cheap-because-I-always-kill-it-after-a-year-or-so music player. (My 18mo Lumia 520 has contracted static of the audio jack syndrome.)
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies.

I hadn't seen these ones before, the E looks good for simple development - I'd probably go for the G to cover most bases, thanks for pointing these out!
How do you know so much about swallows? Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know.

I'm not sure I'd want to replace an e-ink display for an LCD display for reading.

Cool Trick OTD:
To modify text in HTML using CSS, just use the :before/:after pseudo-elements with the content property[^]. I've been living in a cave all this time.

Do you see another use case than the one of the example ? Maybe there is a reason why this is not known

I did, but I had to Google it. I have a column that's empty except for a checkmark. Instead of typing the ASCII code (✕ = ✕) every time, I just give it the class name and voila'!

I can think of a few examples. A citation is one. I cooked up a fiddle to show what I mean...

This job is definitely not worth eleven-five a year! (Ghostbusters)
but 2000 pounds? Per year? That was really long ago.
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

I like the reverse charge bit at the bottom. I wonder how far you would get if you reversed charged a perspective employer nowadays.

Is it still possible to do that?
Don't think I've ever had call to do it.

I hadn't studied her legs that closely, but yes, you seem to be correct.
