Just drill a hole from 1st floor to ground floor and jump down.

Put a fireman's pole in it, and you can do it every day without needing crutches.
Add stairs and you can go back up again at the end of the day!

Sure, imagine the water pressure needed to push you back up at the end of the day?

Or a huge see-saw, preferably operated by a nice chick.

That's going to eat into your living space: you will need two holes in the floor, or a very, very short "nice chick" who doesn't mind some nasty bumps on her head. Those are hard to find...

Just upgraded the idea to a Pulley [^] type with two buckets. Now this needs very little space. Less space is good, I should have a bit of "access" to the chick on the other bucket.

You're going to need a "signalling system" as well, to ensure she is in her bucket when you jump in. Otherwise, we're back to the crutches again.

No, the position of my bucket automatically conveys her presence , correct?

Not necessarily: if she gets out of her bucket and they are in perfect balance then yours will stay in the "living space" position until the system is disturbed.
Plus, you have a major disadvantage here: unless you want HR problems, you need both you and her in the "living area" at the same time in order to fully enjoy the situation.

I think just adding a 1-2kg weighing stone to one of the buckets would fix it?
(Now it really feels like doing a quick fix on the code )

Not a fix, that's a bodge - how does she get "her" bucket back?

I can see you are applying Agile principles here in your design methodology.
Keep up the good work. At some future iteration you'll have this all just right.
