Interesting indeed: "We are bringing the core relational database capabilities to preview today, and are targeting availability in mid-2017."
Would it be a mistake, do you think, to regard this announcement as aimed at "mind-share" gathering, or preemption of some other whatever(s) ? Is the next step for Microsoft to acquire Uber just to obtain the IP rights to the name, while throwing drivers and riders under the same bus that the Nokia employees went under ?
And, the pricing model ? Would such glory descend from the heights of: [^] to a level that a mere mortal like moi could afford a stale crust of it ?
