You were taught wrong, I suspect: Classical electron radius - Wikipedia[^]

Through some more wikiing (never typed that out before...), it seems the "classical electron radius' is something that was calculated based on some likely incorrect assumptions and thus, is not very accurate.[^]
Also, calculating the radius of a non-exact particle is dumb.
