Reminds me of the term "IBM PC Compatible".
IBM - we understood, was the name of a company.
PC - we thought we understood this 
Compatible - never really understood this - what was it compatible with?

From an Indian perspective, IBM was in India during the seventies, when I was too young; and was made to close shop in India in 1977. IBM came back to India around mid-nineties via a company called TISL (Tata Information Systems Services), before coming back again as IBM itself. So, during 1990, IBM was a was in India.

So I can´t have been a real Doom player back then, I had to wait all that time.
Too bad I didn't know. 
Doom was epic, and so was its successor, Castle Wolfenstein. I didn't like to have to shoot the dog, though.

But submitting an article by email will always take longer that directly entering it as it requires a staff member to read, format and post it for you - and it's a public holiday in Canadia so the staff are all off enjoying themselves!

Hi All,
I have opened a hornets nest. Accidentally I cleaned a spot on my desk and saw a change in colour to a soft of brown, not happy at that I have cleaned the entire top of the desk. This has led to "I will clean my book case next!"  Cleaning am I really that board!
