Phew! I'm stuffed!
Since Herself is still poorly (and to give myself an easy evening meal cookery session) I did a Full English Breakfast for lunch:
Home cured bacon (four thick slices).
Sausages (three).
Fried egg (one).
Black pudding (three slices).
Hash browns (two).
Baked beans (half a tin).
Tinned tomatoes (half a tin).
Mushrooms sauted in garlic butter (lots)
Toast (two slices)
Tea / coffee (one big mug)
It was hard enough to get it all on the plate, but now I'm pretty much incapable of movement for a while.
But...it tasted good, and it saves me cooking tonight (late biscuits and cheese when we get peckish).
Better than clear soup!

Good luck! Hope your NHS is as good as ours: Herself was sent for an Xray on Thursday (Saw Quack on Friday, heard the appointment date on the Wednesday.
Due in at 14:30, called in at 14:25, out five minutes later.
Not quite as good as my experiences with Bupa, but pretty good.
