Did you buy the upgrade from Win 7 / 8 to 10? I got it for free.
Is Windows 10 bullying you to buy an Upgrade? It doesn't on my pc.

Forget the joke icon? Win 10 was a free upgrade. For sure, there was some bullying involved but at least they weren't asking for money. btw, MS is now giving away products that they used to charge for: VS, SQL Server Developer to name a couple. Even the cost of a full Win 10 Pro license is around half of what they charged for Win
That said, I really liked Win 7...at one time declaring it the very best OS I'd ever used. I skipped Win 8 completely and used Win 7 until just a couple of years ago when Win 10 became available.
So I've been on Win 10 for over 2 years now and now declare it to be the very best OS I've used.
My only real problem with Win 10 is the unattended restarts for which there seems to be no solution. It has cost me a bit of re-work where I had left things open/unsaved overnight only to be greeted in the morning with the seaside cave scene. (you're in a cave by the ocean...or, 'oh crap, what did I leave open?')
What I'd like to see is MS using some common sense before forcing a restart on Win 10...something like 'OK, the logged in user has files open...let's delay the restart and let the user know' or a simple easy to find setting for disabling automatic restarts period. Sorry, didn't mean to turn this into a rant!

Most of them are specific to a locale, and, if you don't live there, you are left utterly clueless.

I don't think "most" of them are, by any stretch of the imagination. though this one was perhaps more so, though British PM's are quite Google-able, and Father Ted was, I think, syndicated to many countries, including the US and Australia. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I thought the show was quite well known outside of the UK - mind you, I am also aware that the timing of the CCC means it's mostly for UK users, so.... there's nothing to stop you starting another one aimed at a different time-zone!

A UK based show in syndication probably means it is on cable or satellite; we choose to use a digital antenna and do not get such shows.
I've asked in the past about the timing of the post and been told 'see the rules... the rules are the rules...', so I choose to largely ignore it.
