I see more and more people with "real" job with tattoos and piercings that would not have been acceptable a few years ago.
Not just burger flippers, but lawyers, doctors, accountants...
It is not a question of discrimination, but a generational one, more and more people have tattoos and piercings.

I think the company is stupid to make a hire offer to a person they haven't met in person.
If I were interviewing her, the first question I would ask her would be: "can you prove you do not drink blood ?"
