Please forgive me , if i am using a wrong forum for wrong question, but i really cannot stop myself :
To start with , i have these japanese girl who is my colleauge, sitting next to me who is die hard fan of Twilight and harry potter series and today while chatting to her during lunch time , she asked me if i am going to see Twilight with my wife and my response was no and i told that last week only i saw SkyFall .
But she was annoyed and what she told , shook me upside down :
She told , she do enjoy James bond movie , but dont like the actor in james Bond (Daniel Craig) movie, but she insist that if Daniel Radcliffe (Harry potter main protogonist) act James bond , it will be a block buster
What you guys think about it

I don't think much of Daniel Craig either. I don't think he has been a good Bond, but Skyfall was way better than the other Bond-movies he's done. If they continue in that track, I think it looks promising for the future.
I really can't see Daniel Radcliffe as Bond, and I don't have any other suggestions off hand as to who could take over for Craig, but surely there must be better alternatives.

It probably would be a blockbuster, but that's not the same as a good movie. Radcliffe is too young to be convincing as a skilled, experienced top-of-the-range spy.

Daniel is very good IMHO (although not all agree), but he did have the bad luck of having to make Quantum of Solace, which was one of the worst movies ever.
Daniel RadCliff[^] as James Bond[^] ? Not in the near future.

Daniel Craig is most probably the Bond who sticks the best to the book/screenplay character, who is much darker than the way Brosnan or Connery played him. I personally find him really cool.
I doubt Radcliffe would have made a better character. The target audience for James Bond films are definitely not girlies, and he would not be convincing as a spy, let alone as a serial lover.
On a side note, if such a discussion "shook you upside down", your life must be tremendous.

my life is much better and stable enough , if its was not then wont be posting it or working ,one advice my friend , dont jugde the people by the phrase they use in there sentence , its a beauty of english " Like Upside down " , Sky is falling , LOL , rolling on the floor laughing , which shows the extend of situation , but not one does it in real life.
What shook me , that , they way and the confidence she shown in putting her choice as if its surely gonna happen

I was only teasing - you surely noticed the emoticon after my sentence.
And I do roll on the floor or laugh online when I write ROTF and LOL, which is also probably why I've never wrote it much so far.
I am not surprised at how confident some people can be about their opinions, especially youngsters. Perspective comes with experience. That's why we need young people, for the madness.

It was once said that James Bond was a psychopathic killer who would shoot his own grandmother just to keep his trigger finger supple.
(That was how Cubby Broccoli wanted him played).
Mind you, Broccoli also said he hired Connery because "He moved like a panther".
I presume he meant on all fours, but given Connery was Scots, it is likely, all that whisky does take it out of you.

I don't like Daniel Craig in anything. He looks, walks, and talks in an irritating way.
But then so does Daniel Radcliffe, although I've only seen him in Harry Potter and the character he plays in that is a massive irritating, whiny dickhead.
I have set this[^] to record, which starts in the UK next week.

Come on Chris, everybody knows you don't like anybody, so this is not of much use.

Not everybody.
OK, I can't think of anyone I do like off hand, but there must have been someone.
Got it, I like John Cusack.

I doubt Radcliff would pass as the character, Bond, I for one wouldn't see the movie although I like Harry Potter. Daniel Craig, ehhhhh, would do.

If that would so, than james bond will take out his magic wand instead of pistol.

Hasn't he done that in every single Bond movie since Dr. No?

I kind of like Daniel Craig as James Bond; Radcliffe is too young to play Bond.
Remember that the actors fit the era the movies are shot, you could not make a Sean Connery type James Bond today, and much less a Roger Moore bond.
There were "issues" (IMO) when they replaced the casting the "Jack Ryan" personnage with Ben Affleck instead of Harrison Ford; he just just too young; and I think that kill the series. Same thing when they cast Matt Damon as Ludlum's Jason Bourne (well, in that case they changed the the whole story).

Because I had read the Bourne books I absolutely hated the films. I just sat there pretty much shouting NO and WRONG at my telly.

Be grateful she didn't suggest Robert Pattinson!
I can't imagine Daniel acting like a big enough a***hole to play Bond.

Radcliffe would find it easier to pull off a Bond girl before he could pull off 007.

I had to throw the new Bond villain out of my pub last night.
Javier Bardem?

Well, Radcliffe did act in Equus, so I have no doubt he'd be willing to do almost anything.

Spoiler ahead...
At the end when Voldemort becomes M, you wonder if they are merging the two series for one mega-series. (James Bond and Harry Potter join forces to save the British Empire)
