Windows 7 frustration......

At home I use windows 8 on 3 machines. Since coming back to work on Tuesday, I don't know how many times I have tried to do Windows 8 things on the work Windows 7 machine. D'Oh! | :doh:

e.g. scooting the mouse to bottom left and waiting for the start to appear before clicking.

I think I must have got over the initial hurdle from going from 7 to 8, and now dealing with the "putting up with 7" symptoms... Unsure | :~

I'm actually finding it frustrating not being able to scroll using my finger, or move the cursor just by touching the screen. I was on my "old" Sony about 20 minutes ago and that was so frustrating.

W7 seems to be fine - what am i missing from a programmer's pov?

I don't know if it is worth you upgrading.

But, I took the plunge because I wanted to do reinstalls of my machines to have a clear out, and also move my main pc to a SSD. It also coincidently fixed a GPU issue that I thought was hardware related!

Imagine my suprise after using windows 8 over the weekend and going to work and trying the same on a windows XP machine
