HMV seems to be limited in how gets access. More information would be helpful.

Yeh, and that is despite now making the user interface for iTunes completely useless in my opinion. The new version 11 is just horrible to use.
I am thinking it is now time to move to Google Music @ Play.
Just wish there was a decent small Android Player device, i.e. pure media device with no phone functionality. The ones that exist don't look that great.

I use WinAmp on my Galaxy S2 and Media Monkey on my PC - I have found that they are both are fairly simple to use and do what I want which is play music and allow me to search for tracks.

So HMV has hit Skid Row. I used to love the one in Oxford Street when DVDs and CDs were all the rage not so long go.
As for their iconic trademark what'll 'appen to that I wonder? If I were Nipper, instead of cocking my head listening to the gramophone trumpet, I'd raise my hind leg and piss in it instead.
