Very interesting photo, thanks for sharing. 
I bet this is several photos stitched together. This works well because most of the people are not moving much. If you look where there is movement like the people walking in the lower right hand corner you will see weird things like legs with no body.
Also as others pointed out, look near the "Hamilton St" sign. It looks like there are defects in the image there.

Today I took notice that we got a desktop computer standing quite close to a sandblaster. The backside and all the cables are covered in a thick layer of dust, I don't wish to take a look what the inside looks like.
Our computers we have in our production environment tends to get clogged with a residue of oil which tends to make the plastic brittle. I wonder what the combination of oily air and sand dust will do.

If you don't need expansion slots or outstanind performances I'd suggest to search for fanless computers - many manifacturers sell this kind of insulated PCs.
They tend to overheat and often have average performances, but work very well in corrosive or wet environments.
