Agree completely. That is one of the major reasons I looked at what I was doing 8 years ago (after 20 years coding for the Army, Air Force, and Navy) and got into private industry. Not really a better change, but at least I wasn't watching DoD budgets, wondering if I had a job next fiscal year.
