I am faffing about with a RoR app, and I have a no bloody idea where my client js file is gone to. Allegedly it should automagically appear, but I'll go down on the fetid stump of the President Elect if I can find the frogging thing!

It has an auto save, but that does not create versions and was quick enough to save the ruined version before I closed the browser window...

I write my articles in Notepad.

Some times I use the article editor for Tips, but nothing too large.
