CIO Magazine reports...
Headline: A Trojan program is being distributed through USB drives and seems to be designed for stealing information from so-called air-gapped computers that are not connected to the Internet.
First of all, USB Thief infects USB drives that contain portable installations of popular applications like Firefox, NotePad++ or TrueCrypt. It's copied to such installations as a plug-in or DLL (dynamic link library) and is then executed along with those applications.
And it uses some encryption techniques to cover its tracks. Interesting, but terrible stuff.

Anyone running a computer should already have set up their system to not automatically do anything when a CD or USB device are inserted.
I recognize that by turning it on by default, Microsoft is simply trying to make computing easier for the masses, but it's a security hole, and a godamn big one at that.

I hear it loves the works of Mr Nielsen[^] as well.

Not a Leslie.
The other was about her going up.
This one is about her going down.

Apparently it was a coordinated effort by some 4chan users, who figured out how to get Tay to respond inappropriately.

And....after MS "lobotomized" her, taking away her ability to learn....she became a feminist.
No, I'm not kidding.

Oranssi Pazuzu - Saturaatio[^]
First track of Oranssi Pazuzu's new album.
It's not for everyone... Experimental psychedelic black metal at its finest
I absolutely love it, perhaps someone else here does too (probably not, but this isn't your song of the week)

The genre description as convoluted as it is, sounds interesting.
Will check it out when I get home.

Well YOU might like it!

|

|

That was interesting. I will have to take time and listen to more of this band
I also received very good news yesterday. Enslaved[^] and Ne Obliviscaris[^] are touring Europe this year. They will be in Slovenia in October and I can't wait!
|

That Enslaved song is really good.
I really like their later work, although I don't listen to it enough!
I've listened to Isa and Ruun quite a bit when they came out.
I'm not familiar with Ne Obliviscaris, but I'll definitely need to check that out some more!

It threatens to be tolerable for a good 30 seconds (some kinda record Shirley), but quickly descends into a cacophony of unrelated meanderings and finally into farce once the anti-vocal starts. Still, as rabbles go ...
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

Now I'm going to ask you again, what do YOU like?
I'm starting to think you just don't like music in general

Then you haven't been paying attention! I've made several positive posts about music not least a couple of IDETLIBIMHTCMMNAOTWs! Who knows? Tomorrow (new release day on Napster) may even bring another one!

Meanwhile I still don't know what music you like (just that you don't like anything I ever posted)

Er ... you replied to at least one (actually I think both) so ... well ...
Sander Rossel wrote: (just that you don't like anything I ever posted)
Now that can't possibly be true ... can it? Let me think ... no, no, fair-dos, it is!
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

So I've searched far and wide and found this[^].
That explains why you don't like my music
And I do remember that by the way, what I can't remember is that is was posted by some guy (girl?) called 9082365
On an unrelated note, do people keep forgetting your birthday or was that the other random number?
|
|
|
|

Aren't all birthdays random numbers? Anyway I forgot my birthday a long time ago. It's only fair and decent that everybody else should do the same!

I think you need to change your subject to "Obscure soundtrip of the week"

That does pretty much cover it!
And I've got lots more of that
