Yup. I wanted to check out the costs, compared to other private hire firms, of a people carrier from Heathrow to Woking. Most firms are more than happy to give a quote.
To get one from Uber, I not only have to sign up, which is not a problem, but I have to provide credit card information up front. This is very presumptive that I will choose their service. It's like Waitrose making me buy stuff before they give away a coffee!

I take it back, you can get a guesstimate without signing up, but it wasnt easy to find the link and I are good at googlies. Now I have decide if it's worth it.

I finally got a price of £35 - £40 from Uber for a large car / people carrier, wot we need due to luggage, and it sounds like it might be a better idea as I can just ping them once the goils land.

Neither is true, as I have merely stated my opinion, without insulting or criticising anyone,
