well... let's see... if you're a student you can get discount pricing... if you're a professional and have an employer, then your employer should pay for it....
Otherwise, yes... it's too damn expensive...

The Microsoft Technology Action pack is £300 (in the UK) and for 3 people, and you get Windows, Windows Server, SQL Server, Office, Visual Studio etc etc with it. Pretty good deal, especially if you can split the cost with two others.

But the licensing is sh!t by the looks of things;
"These licenses may not be used for direct revenue-generating activities (such as website or email hosting, or custom solution development for monetary compensation)."
Only really for internal systems and training / demo purposes.

Find a VS2012 reseller who offers a price below that of the MSRP, then upgrade from 2012 to 2013 for the $99 price?

I think we might be seeing to rise of a new business model - somewhat akin to patent trolling.
It's easy.
1) Set up a not existent shop, selling non-existent products.
2) Include a non-disparagement clause in your lengthy ToS.
3) Aim for poor customer service and bad online reviews.
4) Sue 'customers' over said disparagement.
5) Profit

Since they had gotten a refund and returned the product, there was no sale and the contract is void.

I remember reading an article on drudge report a couple of years ago about an online retailer with horrible customer service in Brooklyn NY
They did that on purpose, because people would complain and post bad reviews about them, and there site landings would go through the roof, and sales just kept rising higher and higher.
So the more negative reviews they had, the higher the sales went. Go Figure.

You may have noticed the Dandy 1987 annual in the video, so were you a Dandy or a Beano reader? I was Beano.....my brother was Dandy.

A friend of mine posted the Epic Split[^] which is truly an amazing stunt.
But what caught my eye afterwards was the Hamster Stunt[^].

Puberty. Pretty soon, we all will hate CP.

You got it the wrong way round. When CP will reach puberty it will hate all of us and start to think it knows everything better.
This may already have happend and is likely manifesting itself in some awkward, self-righteous and I-know-better-than-you attitude driven accounts.
That's some advanced level of AI!
Cheers!
